Our Mission :

Provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade quilts, knitted and crocheted afghans and fleece blankets , lovingly created by volunteer “blanketeers.”
We deliver nearly 200 blankets a month to our 3 local Hospitals ( St. Vincent's Health Center, UPMC Hamot Hospital and Millcreek Community Hospital) , Shelters, and many Agencies that provide a service to children in need in our community
Our Programs and Services:

• Provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children. Many Scout Troops, Schools, church groups are just a few of the groups that have done a service project for NWPA Project Linus.
• These groups may be making a fleece blanket as a co-operative group, learning a new skill or tracing a picture on muslin cotton squares, so that a child can color it. These very colorful squares are then put into an amazing cheery quilt.
