Join NWPA Project Linus Saturday September 8th at Yaple’s 801 W. 26th Street for our 20th year Anniversary as a local chapter from 10:00-1:30. There will be give aways on the half hour, materials to choose from to help start or complete a Linus blanket, pattern demos, refreshments and snacks.

Hello Blanketeers,

 Thank you to all of you that made this year’s Erie Give fundraiser such a wonderful success. $ 2,307.90 was raised by our community. When we say that it “Takes a Village”, no truer words were spoken.   

                                         

Boscov’s – Tuesday October 16^th 8:00 am- 11:00 pm

Tickets are available ( $5.00) for the Boscov’s Friends Helping Friends . You will receive a 25% off coupon, refreshments, give aways. Call 1-814-392-5583 or email nwpaprojectlinus@hotmail.com for your ticket.

Fall “ Sew In” – Saturday October 20 – 9:30- 3:30

Super Stitch-  10429 W. Main Street , North East , PA 16428

Bring your sewing machine and a friend if you would like, for a fun day of sewing. We will provide the sewing kits, snacks, lunch and beverages.

Please park in the back of their building and use the Class Room entrance.

5th  -  Millcreek Sewing Center “ Sew In” 6044 Peach Street 1:00- 4:00

10th- Yaple’s  Sewing & Vacuum – monthly meeting  9:00-11:00

We are still in need of all sizes and types Boy blankets.

Erie Gives update

It's almost 2:00 and 6 hours to go with this wonderful Erie Gives on line event today. We have a very generous community and would appreciate your help, to help children in need. Your donation will assist our organization with blanket making materials. On average we distribute over 200 new handmade blankets a month. In fact, this year we have surpassed 44,000 since our Chapter opened in May of 1998.
