National Make a Blanket Day-
February 19TH, 2022, All of our Stores or Quilt Shoppes
that are a drop off locations will be accepting blankets: DUE TO COVIV-19,This year
will again be completely drop off only, at all locations.
Odds and Ends:
-
We are still in need of Boy blankets- All sizes and types ( knitted, crocheted,
quilted and fleece tied)
Reminders:
-
When knitting or crocheting an afghan be aware of the needle size and yarn
weight, so that your finished item isn’t too loose or “airy” due to little
fingers and hospital equipment.
Looking
Ahead:
In a future
News Letter there will be information regarding a Kit pick up and material give
away for the purpose of making Project Linus blankets. More than likely
sometime in late April or early May. In the past, this has been a wonderful way
for our “ Blanketeers” to acquire blanket making supplies.
